Dragon Trax is a community-active shop. We were the first tattoo
shop in the state of Alabama to host a Red Cross blood drive (where we are proud to say that we raised over 5 gallons!). We air
brush tattoos at the United Cerebral Palsy's "Hog Wild" & "Diamond Dig" events annually,
donating our time and proceeds to this very worthy cause. This allows us as a shop to give back to our community
and the people that are our neighbors, clients and friends, without whom we could not succeed.
As the Alabama State Representative for the Alliance Of Professional Tattooists (APT), we
host the OSHA Standard Bloodborne Pathogens seminar for other local artists yearly and Ms. Nancy teaches this seminar at tattoo
conventions nationally. The APT is an industry icon that is based on educating artists, shop owners, piercers and the public
to the needs of proper cleanliness and disease control. In this age of HIV, hepatitis, staph and MRSA infections, we
feel that this is one of the most important associations in the industry today. However, being OSHA standard BBP certified
is not a requirement in Alabama I am proud to say that every artist/piercer in our shop is APT OSHA standard BBP certified,
ensuring that our staff, our clients and our community are as safe as we can make them.
Our commitment to our customers has made us who we are today.
